SIT20207

This course provides students with basic skills in the food and beverage areas of the hospitality industry. Practical training in the company's restaurant and bar is a component of the course.

Certificate III Hospitality (Operations) is designed to reflect the role of hospitality employees who perform a range of skilled operations with the need to apply discretion and judgment. It allows for the multi-skilling requirements of many hospitality businesses.

This course is designed ideally for those already working or with prior work experience in the industry.

Course structure

This course is delivered flexibly, and session times are arranged to suit the groups work commitments.

Theory subjects are delivered in a practical way wherever possible and incorporate work-related projects.

Certificate II Sports and Recreation - Taking Enrolments
SRO20106

This course introduces students to the sport and recreation industries and involves both on and off-the-job training. Student will complete core units which cover a broad range of vocational subjects orientated towards sports and recreation, along with sport administration electives. 

Study Areas
Working in teams, computer operations, data retrieval, dealing with customers/clients, career planning, OH&S, financial planning, recreation & facility management, first aid, communications, specialist units from selected streams (Officiating), plus electives.
